Because They Steal My Heart!!!

Well just about everyone knows that my three nieces are pretty much my world.. I thought that why not do another post about them!!... I really miss them right now and can NOT wait to see them in April.. Because as it turns out Makayla's and Shawn's Spring Breaks overlap each other.. So Shawn & I, Nicholas, Emily & crew will all be in Daytona for some of our breaks!! I could not be happier and can not wait to see those three little girls!!.. They are pretty much the best!!... Okay so had to just do a little shout out to Makayla, lil-bug and Jenna Benna!!

Register Smegister

Registering...... is NOT all it is cracked up to be!! We are finally done with the three stores we decided to register at... Target, Kohl's and Bed, Bath & Beyond.. It took us a total of about 4 hours JUST at Kohl's!! Mainly because of a "gun" malfunction. After that I never thought Shawn would ever walk into another store to finish.. How wrong was I!! We left Kohls and pulled into the Target right down the street, got fueled up on White Chocolate Mocha's and started there. It was almost closing time SO we went back this past weekend to finish. After Target we went to Bed, Bath, & Beyond... Another three hours in there!! And that "fun" scanner is not so much fun, dead batteries, incorrect uploads, baby things showing up on the registry, losing all information... On top of that we feel bad registering for so many things, (our guest list is 300+) sooo along with a lecture from my mom and all stores giving us the gun we were told to over register... Whomever came up with the idea of registering does NOT make my life easier that is for sure!!

Got word today that THE BRIDESMAIDS dresses are in... I am sooo excited that it is ridiculous!!! Jenn said that she is going to try and get a couple of girls together to pick the dresses up and take pictures so I can feel like I am there... Awesome of them.. but sad, this will be the first time that it is hitting me that things are going to happen, when I am not there... Oh well at least I have got a group of girls that are going to make me feel included and there, even if I am 16 hours away!!... Soooo excited... That is the dress but definitely in different colors... PLUS the back is a corset back...

Shawn's Turn!!

I am extremely ECSTATIC today... Shawn started his last semester of Undergraduate classes at the University of South Carolina. He has a student teacher seminar this morning and then has to take Spanish on Monday and Wednesday nights.. I know, having gone through student teaching, that he is in for a very tough semester BUT it is also the most rewarding and exciting semester that he will always look back on. He finds out today which schools he will be at but I honestly do not think that it will matter because this man can teach ANYONE. I swear that I have never been so proud of someone in my entire life. He has worked so hard to be where he is today and with many trials and tribulations, he is on his final lap as an undergraduate in a program that completely suits him and has become his life. Shawn has been very successful in all aspects of the program and extremely involved in all areas of the department. I love him with all my heart and can not hide my pride and enthusiasm for this man!! Congrats Shawn!! SOOOOOOOO PROUD OF YOU...

Partayyyy People (Birthdays that is)

It has been a minute since I have been able to update and this is a somewhat "general" post... January flew upon us way too fast.. January 2nd was my oldest niece's 6th birthday, doesn't seem possible that Makayla Albertine could be that old. My middle brother's 30th birthday was on January 3rd but we had celebrated that on December 26th at his surprise party that his wife so wonderfully pulled off!! Lily Anita turned 3 on January 4 and has the biggest, funniest personality that I have ever seen in a little lady!.. January 5th was my great friend Jessica's 25th birthday but was able to have dinner with her before I left... I wish that I could have been around for everyone's birthdays but I was there in spirit!!! More updates very soon!!
